Morning Run

I managed to get 2.4 miles of running under my belt today. The running was the easy part, however. The hard part was peeling myself out of a warm bed at 6 am to do it.
I pulled off a morning run about 2 weeks ago and it was great, but weather or laziness has foiled my plans for a repeat ever since. According to weather.com, it looks like my list of excuses will be cut down by 50% for tomorrow.

Damn, I’ve been using the rain excuse too… What’s the route that you run?

I’m taking small steps in my running progress and gonna find a Chicagoland 5k to run in this month… maybe a 10k by years end if i feel so spry.

I know what you mean about arctic jogs being less than ideal. Although sometimes dodging patches of ice and leaping over dunes of snow makes it more of a challenge. The route I run hugs the Hudson, but I’m not sure how passable it’s going to be once snow starts to collect. I might have to seek out another place to go.
